Can I get citing help from the library?

Yes, citing help is available from the Reference Librarians either in person in Building C, by appointment, via chat, text (855-523-3225 or 855-523-ECCL) or email.  We use the OWL Purdue site as our guidelines (see the Citing Sources webpage). For help with citations, make sure you know which citation style you need to use, and bring the materials you want to cite with you (webpage URLs, book titles, article printouts) or as much information as you have available. We can assist with specific questions but do not proofread or do citations for you.

Here is a video which shows how to do citing from the databases. Please note that while our website has changed, the process for citing in these databases remains the same.

The library also has a subscription to NoodleTools. Students use NoodleTools to help compile their bibliographies and organize their research.

Librarians can give some citation guidance at the Reference Desk.

The Write Place (B-274) can also assist students with citing and papers.
