A Course Reserve is a book, movie, article, or other type of material that is set aside in the library for the specific use by that course's students.

The reserve desk is located at our Circulation Desk in the ECC Library (Building C). You can check to see if an item is on reserve by going into I-Share and searching Course reserves. In the drop down box, you can search by course instructor, course ID, course name, or course department name. Here is an example of searching for Course Instructor:

Reference librarians can also verify if an item is on Reserve.

Most items are designated for library use only and cannot be checked out of the library building. Students will also need an  ID (student ID, driver's license, or other state issued ID) in order to access any Course Reserve items.

If you have any questions about Course Reserves, please contact the Reference Librarians (847-214-7354) or the Circulation Desk (847-214-7337.)
